The KiteFoil World Series Italy is set to take place on the stunning Poetto Beach in Sardinia from October 2-5, 2024. The world’s fastest kiteboarding athletes are eager to compete at this popular venue once again. With the recent Olympic Games behind them, riders are looking to establish dominance in the new cycle leading up to the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

At the previous event in Austria, Singapore’s Max Maeder and France’s Jessie Kampman emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively. The competition showcased the new round of equipment approved for the next four years of Formula Kite competition. Brands like Flysurfer and Element are expected to provide stiff competition in the upcoming event.

Italian rider Riccardo Pianosi will be looking to perform well on home waters, while other strong contenders include Israel’s Gal Zukerman and France’s Benoit Gomez. The event will feature streamlined medal series races, with the finals set to be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook. Foiling technology advancements from top designers like Chubanga and Levitaz are also expected to play a key role in the competition.
