The Offshore Double Handed World Championship is set to take place in Lorient, France from 24 September to 1 October 2024. Teams from 17 nations will compete in One Design Sun Fast 30s along the rugged Atlantic Coast. The race will cover a course area stretching from the Isles of Scilly to the western approaches of The English Channel.
Teams will participate in two elimination races to determine the top ten teams for the World Championship Final. The first race, the Département du Morbihan Race, is scheduled to start on Wednesday, 25 September. Teams include favorites like France 2, Belgium 2, Great Britain 1, New Zealand 2, Uruguay, India, Japan, Canada, Netherlands 2, Greece, and USA1.
