Louis Vuitton Cup Spy: Day 2 Live Updates and Video Coverage

Welcome to the live coverage of Day 2 of the Louis Vuitton Cup in Barcelona. A total of five races are scheduled, featuring five competing teams.

Unfortunately, Emirates Team NZ will not be participating due to an incident that occurred during their hoist the previous day. The team scheduled to race against them in Race 4 will simply sail across the start line before the race is declared abandoned, as there are no points involved when competing against the America’s Cup Defender.

The weather conditions for today are projected to be similar to the previous day, with east winds blowing at around 6 to 9 knots in the early afternoon. The racecourse is oriented in an easterly direction, starting from Port Vell, and consists of three laps (six legs) with an approximate length of 1.5 nautical miles per leg. Typically, the race duration is around 18 to 22 minutes. Racing is set to commence at approximately 14:00 CET (12:00 UTC).
