Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli has advanced to the semi-final stage of the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup after securing five wins in eight races. The team finished first in the qualifying stages, showcasing their dominance and skill on the water.
The final selection day for Group A was challenging, with the AC40s sailing in high winds and big waves. Luna Rossa displayed excellent boat handling and speed, securing their spot in the semi-finals.
In Race #05, Luna Rossa took the lead early on and maintained their position to cross the finish line first, earning valuable points in the standings. They continued their winning streak in Race #06, outmaneuvering their competitors and securing another first-place finish.
However, in Race #07, Luna Rossa faced challenges and finished in last place. Despite this setback, they bounced back in Race #08, overcoming a penalty at the start to finish in third place.
