Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Dominates Day 1 of UniCredit Youth America’s Cup

On the first day of the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli’s Youth Team showcased outstanding performance, securing first and second place finishes and accumulating 17 points in Group A standings. The event faced challenges due to extreme weather conditions, resulting in the delay and shortening of races.
RACE #01
Following a delay in the start due to lack of wind, Luna Rossa took the lead early on after a flawless start and maintained it throughout the race, finishing with over a minute ahead of the second-placed boat.
Luna Rossa: 1st place (+10 points).
RACE #02
In the second race, Luna Rossa overtook the leading team on the downwind leg, briefly relinquishing the lead to the American boat before finishing in second place.
Luna Rossa: 2nd place (+7 points).
The Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli crew included Marco Gradoni, Gianluigi Ugolini, Federico Colaninno, and Rocco Falcone.
