Luna Rossa secures a third point in the Louis Vuitton Cup Final after winning the second match of the day. Both Luna Rossa and INEOS Britannia are tied with three points each after today’s races. In the first match, the British team took the lead after a start error by Luna Rossa. However, in the second match, Luna Rossa dominated with superior speed and tactics, securing a 17-second lead over INEOS Britannia.
Today’s racing conditions were ideal with 18-19 knots of wind and minimal waves, allowing for smooth regattas. In the first race, GBR emerged victorious, earning one point. But in the following race, ITA claimed the win and another point, showcasing their strategic prowess on the water.
