The Atlantic front of Porto, Gaia, and Matosinhos set the stage for the Lusíadas Saúde Porto sailing, a major sailing event in Portugal. The event featured the regatta of the Infante and the Portuguese women’s sailing championship, with 670 participants in total.

Organized by BBDouro Nautical Experiences, the Women On Water by HeyDoc took place on the Douro River, with 12 teams competing in Melges15 boats. The “Team Fitch,” led by Olympians Mafalda Pires de Lima and Mariana Lobato, emerged victorious in the championship.

The regatta of the Infante saw close to 350 sailors competing in sailing boats, with winners across different categories. The event also focused on inclusivity, with initiatives to make sailing accessible to all.
