Middle Harbour Yacht Club announces Zhik Women’s Sprint Series
The Zhik Women’s Sprint Series is set to take place on November 3, 2024, at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. This exciting new regatta will feature short races in Melges 20 lightweight sportsboats, aimed at encouraging more women to participate and providing an engaging racing format. Training will be available on the Saturday before the event, with racing starting on Sunday morning followed by live music, canapes, and a prize-giving ceremony.
Event sponsor Zhik will be providing prizes for the winners, including a Zhik OFS 800 Jacket. The Notice of Race has been published, and entry is open on the event webpage. The event is limited to 12 teams, with priority given to MHYC members, although sailors from other Sydney clubs are also welcome to enter.
