New Champions Crowned at 2024 Kiteboarding Asian Championships



The 2024 Formula Kite and TwinTip:Racing Asian Championship recently concluded with new champions emerging after facing dramatic weather conditions in Daishan County. The event saw competitive sailing battles amidst challenging waves and currents, with a brief respite of favorable winds on the second day. However, the championship was abruptly halted due to a government-issued weather warning, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of sailing.

Max Maeder from Singapore reclaimed his title with a dominant performance, while Wan Li from China secured victory in the women’s category. Narapichit Pudla from Thailand and Khristopher Ken Nacor from the Philippines also emerged as champions in their respective categories. The competition showcased the talent and resilience of the participants, with attention now shifting to upcoming events in Sardinia.
