ORC World Championship 2024 Kicks Off with Fast Offshore Racing



The 2024 ORC World Championship kicked off with a fast offshore start from Newport Harbor. Three classes are competing in steady northeast winds, showcasing close racing in Class 0. This 24-hour race tests navigation, strategy, and boat speed. Class 0 boats are leading the fleet, with Victor Wild’s TP52 FOX currently in the lead. Class A and Class B are also racing, with various boats vying for the top spot. The fleet is projected to finish at Fort Adams tomorrow, weather permitting. Follow the race on the TracTrac system.
