Oyster Yachts recently held their 47th Oyster regatta in Palma de Mallorca, gathering 17 luxury bluewater sailing yachts for a week of sailing and socializing at Port Adriano. The event featured four days of racing, evening social events, and expert masterclasses by B&G, Lewmar, Dolphin Sails, and Cathelco. Conditions varied throughout the races, with the fleet experiencing everything from light breeze to thunderstorms.
Notable performances included Oyster 495 Mayfly winning four out of five races in Class 3, and Oyster 885’s Lush claiming victory in Class 1. Brand-new Oyster 595 Carina made an impressive debut, winning the first race on Race Day 1. The overall Oyster Cup was awarded to 655 Blow in Class 2. CEO Ashley Highfield expressed his joy at seeing the Oyster family come together for a memorable week of sailing.
The next Oyster regatta is scheduled for 7-11 April 2025 in Antigua, Caribbean.
