The 19th Viareggio Historical Sails Rally is set to take place from October 17-20, 2024 in Viareggio. This event, organized by the Viareggio Historical Sails Rally association in collaboration with the Versilia Nautical Club, marks the end of the vintage sailing regatta season in the Mediterranean.
Boat enthusiasts can look forward to viewing a variety of historic vessels, ranging from the 1914 Tirrenia II to the 2024 LuluNikka, providing a glimpse into over a century of yachting history. The iconic Alzavola, a centenary Bermudan ketch, will serve as the symbol of this year’s gathering.
Spectators can enjoy three regattas over the weekend, along with a Concours of Elegance parade and a Dandy parade celebrating style and creativity. The event will also feature inclusive sailing opportunities, including onboard experiences for children with different abilities.
