Hebe Haven Yacht Club will be hosting its 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race on 19-20 October 2024, a fun and inclusive event celebrating its 21st Anniversary. The race, the largest and longest-running 24-hour endurance dinghy race in Asia, takes place in Pak Sha Wan and has raised over HKD12.7 million for local charities since 2002.
The weekend event offers sailors and non-sailors the opportunity to mingle on and off the water, with live entertainment, interactive booths, and land-based activities. Spectators can enjoy watching the 40-45 boats racing in the sheltered waters in front of HHYC. The event is open to the public, with donations encouraged to support local charities.
Sponsors such as St James’s Place, Knight Frank, and others, along with supporting partners, make the event possible. The carnival village will have activities for everyone, including kids’ activities, music and dance performances, family fun and fitness events, and a variety of food and beverage options.
