Preview of the Xacobeo 6 Metre Europeans 2024
The Xacobeo 6 Metre Europeans 2024 is set to take place in Sanxenxo, Galicia, from 27 September to 5 October. The event will see teams from five and six countries competing for the European title in the 6-metre class.
The defending champions, Spanish team “Bribon” and Swiss team “Momo,” will be back to defend their titles against strong competition from other European teams. In the Classics division, teams like “Essentia” from Romania and “Dix Août” from France will be challenging the reigning champions. In the Open division, Swiss team “Momo” will face tough competition from teams like “Stella” from Spain and “Ginkgotoo” from Switzerland.
The racing programme will kick off with the 9th Regata Rey Juan Carlos I / El Corte Ingles Master, followed by the main event from 30 September to 5 October in Sanxenxo. The Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, the organizing club, is excited to host another international event for the 6-metre class.
