Racing commenced this morning at 1100hrs CET in the Puig Women’s America’s Cup with Sweden dominating the four races sailed. Due to damage to one of the AC40s, Group A qualifiers have been postponed to Thursday to ensure all teams have a race-ready boat. This afternoon’s racing was canceled to maintain fairness as GBR’s AC40 required overnight repairs. Sunday’s advisory of no racing on Wednesday due to strong winds remains in effect. Wind models are not in agreement for the weekend’s America’s Cup races, but this should become clearer as the week progresses.
