The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) has launched the 2025 Griffin Offshore Pathway, a program aimed at providing opportunities for young sailors to improve their offshore sailing skills. The program will offer various opportunities for sailors to compete in the RORC Season’s Points Championship and JOG races. In addition to UK races, sailors will have the chance to gain offshore experience in races such as Tour Voile and the Nastro Rosa Series. The aim is to support the development of more World Champions, especially with the 2025 World Championship taking place in Cowes.

Lead by experienced Figaro sailor Hugh Brayshaw, the 2025 Griffin Offshore Pathway will provide support and guidance to young sailors throughout the year. Sailors between the ages of 18-30 are encouraged to sign up for a Zoom webinar on October 29th to learn more about the program. The program is funded by a combination of RORC, sailor contributions, sponsors, and donations.

To get involved as a sailor or offer support to the Griffin Project, please contact Griffin Chair Jim Driver.
