The UK Cape 31 race circuit round 5 took place at the Royal Thames Yacht Club as part of the RORC Vice Admirals Cup on 7-8 September 2024. Christian and Jacintha Hamilton-Love’s Khumbu Red claimed their third win of the 2024 Cape 31 circuit, with Sandy Askew’s Flying Jenny and Guy Gillon’s Khumbu finishing second and third, respectively. Duncan McCarthy’s Tonto secured the win in the Corinthian fleet. The Royal Thames Yacht Club managed to complete four races despite challenging weather conditions. The weekend also featured the VAC Cyclops Competition and social activities. The season finale will be hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron on 27-29 September.
