Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez Day 3: What a Spectacle!
At Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, 250 competitors put on a thrilling display in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez under the summer sun. The variety of boats, from small sportsboats to 40-metre gaff schooners, created a stunning sight as they raced from the Portalet tower to the bay of Pampelonne and beyond.
The Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez organized a full day of racing for the different classes, with Maxis competing in windward-leeward races and others sailing along coastal courses. The day ended with a favorable thermal breeze that added excitement to the races.
Despite challenging wind conditions in different parts of the course, competitors gave their best performances. Some boats suffered sail and rig damage, but the action on the water provided unforgettable moments, including a close match race between two 15mR Fifes, Tuiga, and Mariska.
