The Sandberg Estates J/70 World Championship at Real Club Náutico de Palma has kicked off with a bang, showcasing thrilling races and intense competition among sailors from around the world. Leading the pack after the first two races is the USA team of Douglas Newhouse and Jeremy Wilmot on board “Yonder”, followed closely by Brazilian teams “Arete” and “Mindset”. With diverse conditions on the water, including winds up to twelve knots, the fleet displayed skill and determination in each race.
The event, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the J/70 class International Association, promises more exciting racing ahead as teams vie for the coveted title. Stay tuned for updates on the leaderboard as the competition heats up in this prestigious sailing event.
