Solo Open at Leigh & Lowton sailing Club

Twenty Solos enjoyed competitive racing at Leigh and Lowton sailing Club on a sunny autumn day. The challenging wind conditions tested the sailors’ skills, with strong gusts and unpredictable shifts creating an exciting race environment.
With three fleets on the water, the competition was fierce. Race Officer Dave Southwell set a challenging course that kept the sailors on their toes. Close racing and tactical maneuvering made for an exhilarating day on the water.
After four races, Phillip Barnes emerged as the overall winner, closely followed by Andy Carter and Stephen Denison. The racing was intense, with each sailor pushing hard to secure their place on the leaderboard.
Congratulations to all the participants for a successful event and a day of thrilling sailing at Leigh and Lowton sailing Club.
