The Multihull Cup 2024 kicked off with fantastic sailing conditions on Mallorca’s southwest coast. Bright sunshine and a steady westerly breeze set the stage for an exciting competition among performance catamarans. Lord Irvine Laidlaw’s Highland Fling 18 took line honors on the first day, closely followed by Adrian Keller’s Allegra. The Mc2 60 Dragon also impressed with its performance under the handicap system.

Despite some breakages, the sailors enjoyed the challenging conditions and competitive racing. The post-race dock party was moved to the Coast by East restaurant in Port Adriano due to the strong breeze. Racing will continue with windward-leeward courses before the final day on September 29.
