The ETF26 Full Foiling catamaran has introduced a new “Full Foiling” version, featuring longer foils, wider rudder elevator surfaces, and a differential rudder rake adjustment system. With improved sail design, the boat now takes off at 14 knots and foils both upwind and downwind from 7 knots. These upgrades are the result of two years of development, from initial studies to sea trials in the summer. The balance of the boat has been fine-tuned to optimize lift and stability, with manual controls for the crew to adjust trim and take off.

The ETF26 Full Foiling joins the exclusive club of catamarans that foil both downwind and upwind, making it more attractive to top sailors. This new version provides increased development potential for the ETF26 Class, offering exciting racing opportunities in a wider range of wind conditions. Used by Youth and Women’s America’s Cup teams, as well as SailGP Teams, the ETF26 SERIES serves as a pathway between Olympic sailing and professional circuits. With the ability to foil in various conditions, the regattas are expected to be more thrilling and captivating, attracting more teams to compete in ETF26 SERIES events.
