North 2025 Wingfoil Collection Launch
As wingfoiling evolves into distinct disciplines such as Freeride, Downwind, Freestyle, Surf, and Race, the North 2025 Wingfoil collection also advances.
Leading the release is the high-speed Mode Pro wing that incorporates North’s innovative ShiftLock modular track mounting system. This allows riders to pair the Mode Pro with a ShiftLock Boom to expand their riding possibilities. (Carbon boom or handles are sold separately)
North Brand Director Mike Raper emphasizes the Mode Pro’s engineering for speed, noting its impressive control in high winds. The stiffness of the UD-Carbon reinforced N-Weave45 airframe, combined with the Matrix canopy, provides forward momentum and speed, excelling in explosive Big Air performances. In contrast, the Nova Pro features hybrid wingtips that are designed to twist and release excess power for forgiving landings and freestyle performance, better accommodating lower wind conditions.
Complementing the Mode Pro’s rapid freeride and boosting capabilities is the newly refined Seek Wing Foil Board. Enhancements include a longer length, reduced width, and lower weight, all aimed at improving speed and acceleration on the water while allowing for earlier lift onto foil.
The Swell model stands out in the “surf with a wing” category. It has been re-engineered to enhance turns and wave riding, featuring a refined shape that promotes a cleaner, faster lift to foil, alongside a curved surf-style outline for optimizing wave performance and deeper carves.

For 2025, North has incorporated anti-deflection Carbon UDi Technology along the span of the Mode Pro LE for a faster, more direct response. Enhanced profile sections ensure performance across a broader wind range, while the new radial geometric panel layout with load diffusers distributes tension more effectively across the canopy, enhancing aerodynamic flow.
North’s stiffest, lightest, and most durable wing offers maximum wind range and excellent shape retention in extreme conditions. It features N-Weave45 high tensile strength woven fibers with cross ply reinforcement, alongside a Matrix stretch-resistant canopy material. Riders can also choose between carbon handles or a boom due to the ShiftLock Modular Track Mounting System.
