North East and Yorkshire youth sailing Association hosted an event at Yeadon sailing Club on September 29, 2024. Despite challenging conditions with light winds, 17 young sailors from seven regional clubs participated in the event. The sailors enjoyed racing in Yeadon Tarnfield Lake, surrounded by a vibrant community in Tarnfield Park. The day included two races, with Rose Versey emerging as the overall winner. The event showcased the spirit of NEYYS, bringing together new and experienced sailors for friendly competition and skill-building.
