The Finn class, a 4.50-metre solo sailor, has a rich Olympic history and continues to attract top sailors from around the world. The competition will feature 157 racers, a record number, showcasing the appeal of Cannes’ waters and the experience of the Cannes Yacht Club.
French sailors Laurent Haÿ and Valérian Lebrun are among the favorites for the title, along with British sailor Nick Craig and kitesurfing world champion Maxime Nocher. The event will close an exceptional season for the Yacht Club de Cannes, with President Jean-François Cutugno expressing his joy and enthusiasm for the record participation.
