The Snipe Open at Budworth sailing Club for the SCIRA NW Championship 2024 took place on 21-22 September 2024. The event saw gusty and shifting lake conditions challenging the competitors, making strategy and tactics crucial for success on the water.

The final races of the regatta showcased the top teams using their superior boat speed, strategy, and tactics to excel in the challenging conditions. Italian entry Marco Ballatore and Pauline Penny led Race 7 but were overtaken towards the end by the Martins.
