World Sailing Awards 2024 Judges Selected from International Panel of Experts



An international panel of experts has been announced as the judges for the 2024 World sailing Awards. The panel includes leading figures from the sailing, sustainability, and maritime industries who will evaluate entries and determine the winners. The finalists will be revealed on October 16, with a public vote to follow. The winners will be announced at a live gala ceremony in Singapore on November 5 as part of the World sailing Annual Conference.

– Nuno Gomes: sailor, geologist, and board member at SOAPRO S.A in Angola
– Sarah Kenny: Sports lawyer and Vice-President of World sailing
– Pippa Kenton-Page: Olympic gold medalist and race coach
– Santiago Lange: Olympic sailor and winner of multiple medals
– Lorraine McKenna: Sponsorship Director at 11th Hour Racing
– Andy Rice: sailing journalist and champion in various classes
– Cory Sertl: World sailing Vice-President and former Olympic competitor
– Susie Tomson: Sustainability expert with experience in sports sustainability programs
– Anne-Cécile Turner: Sustainability expert and co-founder of bloomUp
– Lijia Xu: China’s first gold medallist in dinghy sailing

The World sailing Awards will honor excellence, achievement, and contributions to the sport over the past year. Awards categories include Rolex World sailor of the Year, 11th Hour Racing Sustainability Award, Team of the Year, Young World sailor of the Year, World sailing Technology Award, President’s Development Award, and Beppe Croce Trophy.
