Royal Harwich Yacht Club Hosts Local Beastie Event
Royal Harwich Yacht Club recently hosted a round of the local Beastie event, featuring 18 Teras and 33 Optimists. The club provided separate courses for both fleets on the river Orwell. The event saw ideal sailing conditions with 6 to 10 knots of wind from the East, allowing for four races to be completed smoothly.
In the Optimist fleet, Stella Davey dominated with three wins, followed by Callum Marshall and Oscar Coates. In the Tera Pro fleet, Willow Osborn claimed first place, with George Panos leading the Tera Sport fleet.
All races were set out on the river channel, providing a clear view for spectators. The club expressed gratitude to all participants and looks forward to welcoming them back next year. The Optimist and RS Tera results were published for review.
